Alison Smolinski, a D.C. native, laid down roots on a bucolic farmette in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, a decade ago and now enjoys leading her family on a variety of misadventures. A working mom of two youngsters and recent Master of Arts in Communications graduate from the Pennsylvania State University, she hopes she will one day no longer be sleep-deprived! She has had work published in The Burg and From the Fallout Shelter.
